Where it all started
SpotOn was founded by Michael in 2015 when he started helping other business owners to gain new leads through Google Ads, like he was successfully doing in his Family First Aid business.
Driven by a passion for simplicity and automation, he got other like-minded people to help him run the day-to-day of Family First Aid and finally went full-time into serving other business owners with Google Ads management skills and advice.
During 2018 and 2019, SpotOn grew dynamically through networking based on the principles of Giver’s Gain and joined a business coaching program to improve on systems and service delivery.
For new accounts, we closely watch them until they get a consistent heartbeat. Once they gain some maturity, we use a three-angled approach to manage your Google Ads account. We have an amazing scheduling system which is our “To Do Boss”, telling us exactly which accounts to check, and when, based on the below 3 types of checks.
We do weekly pulse checks to see ensure campaigns are running well and getting conversions. If we spot a problem, we dig deeper to find the root and rectify it.
Monthly we look at the last 30 / 60 days data to start making optimisation to keyword bids, adding negative keywords, etc.
Every 3 months bid adjustments are made on multiple dimensions. Including devices, demographics, locations, ad schedule.
(larger accounts are checked more often due to more data from which optimisations are made)
